In the Wood
(Re-Telecine, Re-Edited & Sound Re-Mixed)

I attend the workshop that host by IFVA (The 11th Hong Kong Indepandent Short Film & Video Awards 2005).

This is the homework I did, together with another cameraman Wing Leung. We only have 4 hours to shoot, plus less than 4 hours to prepare the storyboard, props, costume & even location.

By the way, we process the film ourselves.

This is the new telecine version with WorkPrinter transfer, re-edit and sound remixed. What a big different from the 1st "Off the Wall" capture.

Filming by:
Kodak Tri-X Black & White Super 8 mm film.

Film length:
2
minutes 55 seconds

You must have at least Flash Player 8 to view this clip.

Your intro & your end music killing the film man! What were you thinking??? Brian

nice work, the ending scared the crap out of me. well done pinata2000

I found two errors of "continuity" in your film that can be solved easily:The guy appears from the scrubs from left and leaves the frame to the right and in the following take (when He arrives to the left house ) the guy comes from the right and leaves the frame by left.
In the next take (of his face) , the guy leaves the frame by left and in the following take(their feet)comes from the left and leaves the frame by right.
This can fixed just inverting from left to the right the take when the guy appears for the first time (from the scrubs) also the take of their feet.
Which film stock did you use? Plus-X developed as negative? Carlos 8mm
